Summary: Effective for PM2.5, smog, gases and allergy sensitive people and the general pollution of the environment in a smaller sized room. Uses two filters: a proprietary GAC carbon filter and a synthetic charged HEPA filter.

To improve upon the HEPA filter we designed our filters using a charged synthetic material. Synthetic is a newer technology that is more durable and has less air flow resistance. It uses a combination of charged properties and mechanical filtration. We were also able to make it much lighter and consumer friendly. We worked for many months in testing different configurations to get to an optimal filter that maintains the filter efficiency ratings but with less resistance.

A HEPA filter is a series of fibers that catch and hold particles as they pass through the filter.  This is known as mechanical filtration.  All HEPA filters use this principle however we also charge the fibers in the filter so it can better capture the smallest of particles that might otherwise pass through the filter.

Effectively filters all particulate matter pollution for the concerns of PM2.5, smog, dust, pollen, asthma, allergens, pet dander, mold, bacteria, viruses, odors, formaldehyde and benzene, cigarette smoke, etc.
